Spring Break Activities
Toddler Time: Age 1-4
Tuesday, March 11, 9:30 - 10:30 AM
Join us for a FREE activities specifically designed for you and your toddler to experience together, including arts & crafts, story time, and games. Please note that this is not a drop-off activity, and you must accompany your toddler.
One Day Workshop: Age 5-6
Wednesday, March 12, 9:30 - 11:00 AM
Learn how to create your very own textured wave painting! Workshops are free; advance registration is required; space is limited.
One Day Workshop: Age 7-12
Wednesday, March 12, 1:30 - 3:00 PM
Learn how to create your very own paper collage shadow box! Workshops are free; advance registration is required; space is limited.
Always Available
BAM Kids Art Space – All Ages
Check out our on-site themed art project inspired by The Story of the Leprechaun. Supplies are provided and children leave the museum with a creative memento of their visit.
Scavenger Hunt – All Ages
We invite you to take a closer look! Pick up an interactive scavenger hunt worksheet and test your powers of observation as you explore the current exhibit.
Art to Go – Ages 4-12
Looking for a creative outlet to do with your children at home? Stop by the museum and pick up one of our free kits with a featured activity and supplies. Kits are available year-round and can be picked up on Saturdays beginning at 10 AM. There is a limit of one kit/child while supplies last.
BISD Art Contest
This annual exhibit features original pieces created by students who are currently enrolled in an art class at Moreno Junior High and A.C. Jones High School. Be sure to vote for your favorite pieces by 4/25/25. People’s Choice Award announced on April 26, via facebook!
